Delivery Procedure
At The Bed Shop we offer a free of charge next day delivery service on selected in stock items across our range. If you would prefer not to have next day delivery and instead choose your own delivery date this too is possible, please just select your delivery date of choice at checkout. Any orders placed using our next day delivery service will only be delivered to your doorstep. If you live in an apartment or a block of flats, the delivery will only be to the lobby of the building as the logistics company contracted for our next day delivery service are not insured to enter private premises. If you need help with the positioning of your order then you will need to arrange for someone to be there to assist you with the delivery as only one man will be present on the delivery. The cut off time for next day delivery is 3:00 PM GMT, if you miss this time slot your order will be delivered the following working day. Our next day delivery service operates Tuesday to Friday and excludes Bank Holidays, the delivery time slot is between 8 AM and 6 PM. Unfortunately due to the nature of our next day delivery service we are unable to provide a more accurate time slot in any circumstances. In order for your next day delivery order to be processed we require immediate payment via credit or debit card, for obvious reasons cheques and money orders will not be accepted. If you miss the delivery for whatever reason then our logistics company will leave a card and you will be able to contact them to re-arrange a new delivery date. You will be automatically charged £20 for every time you miss a delivery and a card is left. If you order more than one product on our next day delivery service then they may arrive at different points throughout the day and on separate vehicles, this is because they have originally been despatched from different depots across this country. On our next day delivery service we are unable to call before delivery as the driver is operating alone, you can pass on any delivery instructions however such as; leave goods in shed, leave with neighbour, etc.
Delivery Areas
Please be advised that on our next day delivery service we cannot deliver to areas outside of mainland England, Wales and Scotland. The map below displays the areas that we can deliver to on our next day delivery service. We can deliver to areas outside of this region but only using our standard delivery service.
Transit Damage and Non Delivery
In very rare circumstances goods may have suffered accidental transit damage. When your next day delivery order arrives, please check the packaging for any obvious damage and sign the delivery note accordingly. It is always best to accept goods even if there appears to be damage to the goods as it means the problem can be resolved much faster. If after unpacking the goods you do find damage then please email us immediately and include your order number, images of the damage, a description of the damage and what part(s) you require replacing referenced to the assembly instructions. We will then replace the part(s) for you within a maximum of 10 working days but usually much sooner, unfortunately part(s) cannot be despatched on our next day delivery service. We will only exchange an entire product as opposed to just part(s) if the majority of the product has sustained damage. If you wish to reject damaged goods rather than accept an exchange then the collection will be made within 10 working days and will be organised by prior arrangement. If for any reason our logistics company do not deliver on your chosen delivery date then unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any financial loss incurred by this. In the very rare occurance that there is a problem with the delivery we will contact you immediately by phone and email to advise you of the change. We kindly remind you that the chance of your order arriving damaged or late is extremely small and the vast majority of our next day delivery orders are delivered without a hitch on time and in pristine condition.
